Baba Aghar Jitto
Tourists visiting the Reasi town must check out the statue of Baba Aghar Jitto which lies at a distance of merely 6 kms from Vaishno Devi in Katra.
Aghar Jitto was a farmer who gave up his life for getting the deserved share of agriculture crop. Bir Singh, the Jagirdar refused to give the due share of crops to the farmers, to which Aghar Jitto protested and finally succeeded in getting his right by sacrificing his life.
